Accommodations are either in safari lodges or in tented camps; in place camps with walk in tents and attached bath facilities. Many visitors prefer the tented camp as it affords opportunities to hear the night sounds and are generally smaller with fewer guests. Accommodations range from budget class to the very luxury class. Most opt for a mid range accommodation, which provides more amenities but not nearly as expensive as luxury class. Most lodges and camps are either located with in the park or reserve or just outside.
In order to assure that you get the lodges and camps that you want, you should book your safari at least 4-6 months in advance of arrival. If you are go to do your safari in the optimal months, you should book at least 6 months or more in advance of your arrival.
WildTrek safaris have a fleet of modern well maintained mini-buses and Land Cruisers with open hatch (roof). All the vehicles have long distance two-way radios to keep in touch with others and our main office.
WildTrek will be happy to make your international air arrangements. Nairobi is served by Emirates Air, Qatar Airways, KLM, British Airways, South African Airways, and Kenya Airways. If flying into Arusha, Tanzania, KLM is the only option.
